We are so very proud that Fran will be laid to rest at the South Florida National Cemetery, located in Lake Worth, Florida. Earning the privilege as a member of the United States Air Force.
As usual, befitting his unique sense of style, Fran is being laid to rest dressed in a One-of-a Kind custom made jacket made entirely of the actual race numbers he wore from over 100 of the Marathons and other road races that he ran. Too, too cool!
Dark somber suit???? HELL NO!! This is FRAN MARINELLI !!!!

Frank and I were in the same class at Keesler AFB and we came to Morocco on the same plane. We also worked together in radio maintenance until he transferred to teletype.
